On my way to lose 50 lbs.—sustainably!

My name is Sarah, and I am documenting my journey of empowerment—from sitting on the couch to (ultimately) losing around 50 lbs. in a maintainable way. No more quick fixes for me—my days of white-knuckling it to get the weight down and then gaining it all back are over. Through the power of tiny tweaks and habit changes, learning from setbacks, and celebrating my wins (large and small), I will achieve my health goals and maintain them for life. I decided to share this publicly to hold myself accountable, and hopefully connect with others who understand the challenges of this process and to celebrate with as we embark on this journey to healthier lives.
